my hose setup.

Postby littleredtree on Fri Nov 20, 2009 1:49 pm

My new set up...still a work in progress. I used the 1/4 in clear flexible tubing from the hardware store. 19 cents a foot.
And a few removable hooks. A few inches of duct tape...could not find the white duct tape. Hubby must have borrowed it.

If you make the tubing long enough it will work perfect.

Looks good and functional.

If you would like it to be less intrusive and
not so visible.....I could send you some of the
camo duct tape I have.

Hope this helps.

What is Camo Duct Tape?

My white would have done ok... If I could find it. :)
Not bad for a dollar and a few old hooks that were in my Cabnet.

Short for camouflage. Tan and olive green, virtually invisible
if you're sleeping in a tree.

I use two commercially available hose holders or lifters. The first is a portable one but I use it at the firehouse. I have used this one for a year now and it has held up just fine. It is nice and compact when taken apart and comes with a small carry back.

I use this one at home.

This one isn't perfect but it never moves and has a hook on the end to hold your mask when not in use. However this one has three pieces of velcro that you attache the hose with and I find by using this I am not cleaning the hose as much as I used to before.

One of these days I will figure out how to post pictures in here and not just a link.

I do not murder the innocent forest creatures....
nor am I a destroyer of the fragile flora and fauna.....

for me,
camo is a fashion statement.
From my dry marsh camo cycling jacket to
my Mossy Oak/new breakup flannel sheets,
RealTree polypro Tshirts
and Seclusion3D down jacket.....
camo goes far beyond "tan and olive green".
